Hi AgentJ!!
Its true things have been slow around here, but that doesn't mean that the forum should die out.
I'm sure there are tons of animators out there who are not in AM and would love to join us. We just got to keep plugging away.
Maybe we could get a banner for the site and use it in out posts on other forums...you know spread the word!!! (i know some of us already link the site, but a banner would be visually more inticing)
p.s. The forums for AM are in flash? Why doesn't that work for you?

Hi agentJ!
The forum dead, No!! I still visit it every day, but it seems to be a busy period for many people. It's a pitty some people have left this forum for AM. I'm working on a animation project myself, but school takes a lot of my time so i'm not very productive at the moment. In a few weeks my schoolyear is over and I have a lot time to animate!!

Well, I guess everyone is busy, with AM or other things.
I myself am doing like 2 big projects at the time now and I have to finish that before I'll be going back to animating.
I'm also working on a lot of other skills like concept design, traditional art, modeling etc. I figured that it wouldn't be bad at all to practise those skills too.
Focusing on animation only is nice, if you live in california. Here in the Netherlands there are lots of small companies who expect you to be capable of doing more and I want to show that to them in my portfolio, which I'm working on to (finishing and polishing things + building a site) And of course you can never let your social life suffer...
Anyhew, I might be posting some stuff in some time from now, still gotta finish the damn fine coffee animation for my portfolio
